Obama, the Undecider in Charge

While I do not support an U.S. military intervention in Syria, I’m against indecision. By passing the buck to Congress, President Barack Obama shows the kind of indecisiveness unfit for a leader. If you don’t want to involve militarily, just come out and say it. If you want to engage in Syria, act swift and prudent. The Syrian government and other American foes must be laughing hard at the perceived U.S. weakness. By the time the Congress finishes debating and voting on a war resolution, Assad and his allies will have had lots of time to prepare. The indecision is putting American troops in terrible dangers. Moreover, Obama’s reputation will be shattered if Congress voted down on an intervention in Syria. I don’t know who is advising the president, but he is getting very bad advice.
