Memorial Day 2010

One thing I do know for sure is that military people are the bravest men and women a country has to offer. No one is more willing to sacrifice for his country than a soldier is. No one would put himself in the line of fire to protect his comrades, and to make way for them to move forward like a soldier would. Soldiers are indeed born of a different breed.  Simon Nguyen

An awesome sports weekend

For sports fans like myself, this weekend is shaping up very nicely. First, there’s the Champions League final between two heavyweights Bayern and Inter. Conventional wisdom tells us this is no big deal to most Americans; yet, soccer is rapidly gaining attraction in the US. Also, the FIFA World Cup is in full gear with a slew of friendlies slated for Monday.

If you have followed my blog for some time, you probably know how much of a tennis nut I am. I spent many sleepless nights in January watching the Australian Open, and will likely spend many more hours watching the French Open which starts Sunday.

Any other big sporting event I have not mentioned?

french open
CL final
